What is the difference between a Boat Transfer & a Boat Tour? |
|
A Boat Transfer is a private service & our qualified Captain will take you from your chosen port/jetty and drop you off at the port/jetty of your choice on the lake of Geneva, at a designated time/s.
A Boat Tour is a private charter with a qualified Captain, for a minimum of 30 minutes up to a full-day and will take you & your group anywhere of your choice on the Lake of Geneva, whether this is for your family holiday, a romantic cruise for two, or a Wedding celebration, the choice is yours. |

You can either simply fill out our request form on the website with the date/s that you would like the Tour, and whether you would prefer 1 hour, half day or all day, and for how many passengers, OR you can call a member of our team on: 00 33 450 37 50 81, and they will help you with your enquiry. |

How many people will the boat take? |
|
Our boats hold a maximum of 11 passengers, however, if you are looking for a larger boat please get in touch and we will do our utmost to help you. |

Are life jackets provided? |

Life jackets are supplied on the boat, and must be worn at all times. |

Can transfers be arranged to and from the port? |
|
Yes, Leman Transfers also provides transfers to and from any airport, train station, town or hotel. Please contact our sales team to arrange a private transfer. |

Where does the Boat depart from? |
|
The boats main port is the Port of Sciez, but we can collect you by boat from your nearest port, if you wish; please contact our sales team for more details. |

What is the difference between a Shared & Private transfer? |
|
Shared Transfer – sold by the seat. This is based on sharing with other passengers; there may be stops en route to other resorts and a wait of up to 1 hour at the airport for other flights. Door to door service, unless booked within 3 days of the date of travel or unless otherwise stated. Shared options to ski resorts are only available from Mid Dec until Mid April; exceptions may apply.
Private Transfer – sold by the vehicle. This is a private vehicle, door to door transfer booked for your party only. |

How is a scheduled shared transfer different? |
|
The Ski Bus is a unique bus service that operates on scheduled routes at scheduled times. This means the cost of the booking will be very affordable for small bookings of 1-3 passengers but will not offer the benefits of door-to-door private & shared transfers. Buses leave at precise times and do not wait; there may be stops en-route to other resorts and even changes en-route. This service is not a door-to-door service. For all shuttle and shared transfers pick-up times are subject to change, therefore please call us 24 hours before each transfer to reconfirm your pick-up time, on: 0033 450 377 127. |

Are Saturday and holiday period transfers different from weekday transfers? |
|
Yes due to the fact the majority of 'changeover' days being Saturday, Airports and roads tend to be busier than normal. Therefore transfer times may take longer than 'normal'. You will be notified by email or telephone if your return pick up times need to be brought forward. Please note that if you are travelling between 9am and 2pm, or if there is bad weather we may re-schedule to collect you earlier, if need be. |

What if I want to change my return pick-up time? |
|
Always communicate directly with Léman Transfers any changes required. If you make alternative arrangements separately with your driver and do not inform Léman Transfers of your transfer changes, then Léman Transfers cannot be held responsible for any misunderstandings that may occur. |

How do I get a transfer QUOTE on-line? |

So how do I BOOK a transfer on-line? |

Easy, just click onto the TRANSFER QUICK QUOTE OR BOOK NOW button, fill in your travel details and follow the 5 simple steps. Your booking details will then be confirmed via email. If the price for your chosen route isn't available, the system will request more details and an automatic email with a booking link will be sent to you. This will enable you to book on-line via the email link. |

How do I find my driver when I reach the airport? |
|
The Léman Transfers driver will be waiting for you at the Arrival gate, holding a sign showing your parties name. Please note, that your pick-up will be scheduled for 30mins after your flight has landed to allow for disembarkation & baggage reclaim. Show the driver your emailed ticket and you will be seated in the vehicle without delay. |

I am flying into Geneva – will me driver be at the Swiss or the French side of the airport? |

All pick-ups and drop-offs at Geneva airport (GVA) will be automatically serviced from the SWISS side, unless otherwise requested at the time of booking. All Pick-ups and drop-offs for the FRENCH side of Geneva airport (GVA) will be subject to a supplement and the journey time will be +45 minutes. |

I have lots of luggage, will there be room? |
|
Each passenger is allowed one large Suitcase/Holdall and one Ski/Board or Golf Bag. If you have more luggage than this please inform us at the time of booking. |

What happens if my flight is delayed? |
|
If you know before you board the plane, inform TI immediately on 00 33 (0) 6 74 96 45 15, we can then make necessary changes to our schedule to ensure your driver will be waiting for your flight arrival. Normally charges will not be made for delays of under an hour but you will have to pay waiting-time charges for delays over one hour (regardless whether you have informed us), unless you have selected the ‘Waiting time waiver’ (where you are allowed a delay up to 5hrs). Any waiting-time charges will need to be paid in cash (local currency) direct to the driver before the vehicle’s departure.
For a shared transfer we will do our best to fit you onto the next available shared shuttle, but this cannot be guaranteed – please read our Term and Conditions (link at the bottom of the page) for further details. |

What does the waiting-time waiver cover? |
|
Léman Transfers offer an optional waiting-time waiver fee for delayed flights only. This one-off waiver fee covers any extra waiting-time charges caused by delayed flight for up to a maximum of 5 hours. Please note that this is for one designated flight only and does not cover multiple flights. If your group is arriving on more than one flight the waiting-time waiver will automatically cover the last flight landing, unless otherwise requested at the time of booking. Please note that this only covers delayed flights into the same scheduled airport, and at the same scheduled flight arrival time. It does not cover diverted flights to a different airport or delays caused by lost or delayed luggage. For more details see out LT Terms & Conditions link at the bottom of the page. |

Please be aware that we can’t guarantee our published website prices for bookings less than 3 days in advance, but we will do our utmost to get you the best price possible. Please note: normal telephone booking conditions apply and cancellations cannot be refunded.

The e-mail sent by us with a confirmed booking ref. number is your valid ticket. Please print this email as proof of purchase.
